The X Collective (XCO) is partnering Sqkii for the first time in this year’s #HuntTheMouse cash hunt, with $100,000 hidden somewhere in Singapore.

Participants can scan WINK+ QR codes using XCO’s award-winning WINK+ app to receive more clues. Commuters can also look out for out-of-home (OOH) ads across 56 MRT stations and trains on the North-South and Circle Lines, which may contain clues as well.

Ms Jeslyn Tan, XCO’s Senior General Manager, Media & Digital Business, said: “We are excited to work with Sqkii on their latest #HuntTheMouse campaign. Complementing their OOH advertising buy with our WINK+ app allows them to engage the everyday Singaporean through online-offline integration and positions XCO to be at the forefront of delivering campaigns with maximum impact.”

Organised by promotions aggregator Sqkii, the hunt started on 13 December 2018, and the cash prize awaits the first person to retrieve a gold coin hidden under ‘something’. Participants who scan WINK+ QR codes will see a pop up banner appear in the WINK+ app, which will lead them to the Sqkii website for extra tips.

About WINK+ & Sqkii #HuntTheMouse Cash Hunt

WINK+ is one of the platforms for participants to gain access to extra tips that will bring them closer to retrieving the gold coin hidden under ‘something’ in Singapore.

Cash hunters can scan a WINK+ QR code using the WINK+ app to receive the extra tips. WINK+ QR Codes are found at all SMRT train stations, trains, and buses on the North-South and Circle Lines. Commuters can also look out for OOH ads across train stations and trains which may contain clues as well.

The first person to retrieve the gold coin will receive S$100,000 in cash.


About WINK+ App

The WINK+ app is free to download. Since its launch in February 2016, more than 95,000 have downloaded the app and earned points through their everyday commute by SMRT trains and buses. Users earn more points by scanning WINK+ QR codes found in the SMRT transport network. Popular rewards that have been redeemed by commuters include movie tickets, coffee, or bakery items from over 280 participating WINK+ retailers and partners.
